Home Care FAQ

Our caregivers have a three hour minimum per visit, which can be scheduled daily, week, or as a one-time only visit. There is no minimum for the duration of care, and you may cancel our recurring services at any time.

We have been caring for individuals and families in home care for over 25 years and have been serving Connecticut since 2009. We maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and to ensure we are always focused on what’s important to us and our clients, we have a home care quality assurance program to monitor our efforts.

We thoroughly review and train each caregiver to make sure they deserve to represent our home care agency. All of our employees undergo (and pass) a criminal and civil background check. We also run a D.M.V check for driving safety. We contact their employment and personal references and learn about their interests. Caregivers frequently seek out employment opportunities with us, providing us with an enormous selection of qualified personal caregivers, the best of which we choose to represent Fairfield Family Care.

Our offices are staffed from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday from 8am to 3pm. One person from of our staff is available after office hours to make schedule changes and answer any questions you may have. We are also prepared to dispatch a caregiver to your home in an emergency any time of the day or night who will be able to arrive within an hour.

If, for whatever reason, a caregiver is sick or needs to take time off, we will notify the client and provide a replacement as soon as possible. Our staff is available at any time to fill in at no additional charge to the client.
